The words a chart uses
What are collective aspects?
A collective aspect is an aspect the planets make to each other in the sky, the same for everyone, which the tradition reads as a shared theme of the time.
A transit is a planet in the sky meeting a point in your chart. A collective aspect is two planets in the sky meeting each other: Jupiter trine Saturn, say, or Mars opposite Neptune. It names no one. Everyone alive shares it, which is why it is read as a theme of the time rather than of a person.
The slower the two planets, the longer the aspect lasts. Two outer planets can stay in orb for a year or more, passing exact several times as they turn retrograde and direct.
Free readings for everyone
Becoming Choice writes a free reading of each collective aspect, and of each time a planet enters a sign or turns, and keeps it for everyone. A reading of the sky has no one to charge and nothing personal to protect. The home page lists the ones in orb now and coming up.
Each reading describes values, motivations and patterns that may be in the air. It may feel vivid, faint or absent in your own life, and each is fine. A personalized reading places the same aspect in your own chart, through the parts of your life it moves through and touches.
